Setelah sukses dengan album pertamanya tahun 2008 sejak menjadi runner-up American Idol season 7, kini David kembali merilis albumnya yang terbaru.

Adapun album itu berjudul The Other Side of Down dimana dalam album ini dirinya menulis 10 lagu dari 12 lagu yang tersedia di album itu.

Meski album perdananya tahun 2008 laku terjual dengan 762 ribu copy dan berisi banyak lagu pop yang luar biasa, tapi dalam albumnya kali ini David menjelaskan kalau albumnya kali ini lebih pribadi.


Menurut David nih, albumnya ini kebanyakan menceritakan tentang dirinya.

"Tujuan saya dengan album tersebut ialah sedapat mungkin membuatnya lebih mirip 'aku. Aku ingin memperkenalkan kepada orang jenis kepribadian 'goofy, dorky' dan 'aneh yang kupunya,” jelas cowok 19 tahun itu.

Linkin Park meluncurkan singlenya yang berjudul ''The Catalyst", lagu ini rilis sekitar awal agustus 2010, ini adalah single dari album teranyar mereka yaitu A Thousand Suns yang baru rilis pertengahan September ini, video klip pada lagu ini cukup membuat kita terhibur, dengan tema horor the catalyst menjadi sebuah lagu yang bagus.
